Family Fireside Shares!

Well, we made it back home again,
But dear Tye and all my CS friends,
It was really a jam-packed trip from beginning to end!

We had a jog-a-thon,
"Fans in the Stands" softball,
A "Spring Sing"
With lots of sun,
And much more
But most of all
Was our May Day fun!!

We made our little flower baskets
and hung them on the neighbors' doors!

We wore our May bonnets
As we danced around the May Pole.

We sung our song,
And oh yes, last but not least,
We carried the "May Queen"
In her royal seat!!

We didn't get to do much for Cinco de Mayo,



but we did see a lot of these in the park on Saturday!!

Really looking forward to sharing the day sunday with my mom,daughter, and grands. I have a dear friend who is living out of state and her birthday is this weekend, I did get her birthday and Mothers day cards mailed out the first of the week. She is 83 this year and she raised my children for me while I worked. She is a wonderful woman who raised 8 children of her own,with many heartaches and losses. She is living with a daughter in Georgia now and I miss her so. I try to send out cards every few months to let her know I am thinking of her.  Next to my own mother, she is one that I admire so much,she is a wonderful friend to me and almost another grandmother to my kids and many more.

Happy Father's Day to my Dad, Father in law,Uncle HM, and Uncle Ralph...they
are no longer with us, but in my thoughts especially on this Father's Day

And besides, I gave Tye the hammock
Because she really needs a long nap!
